Sick, Sad Baby.

Here is a short video of Jack doing his daily "exercises". Gotta work off all that fortified milk!

I know, I know. I took some pictures of Jack crying. Does that make me a bad mother? I just want to be sure to remember that yes, he was a normal baby and yes, he cried. All I ever do is take pictures when he's especially cute, but I'd also like to remember the normal days too. (It's kind of like writing in your journal. Most people only do it when something really good happens or they're very sad about something. Then your journal is only filled with highs and lows and not the everyday in between. And that's not real life at all!)

We went to the doctor's office tonight because we suspected he has an ear infection. Turns out we were right - he's got one coming on quick. His ears are all inflamed inside and he's quite sad. He's been giving us "the lip" lately and it makes me want to cry too!

While we were there we got to weigh him again. He is exactly 3 months old today and is a little over 14 pounds, and 25 1/2 inches long!! Holy smokes - we're raising a little Michael Jordan! I don't exactly know where he's getting his height from. Tyler is 5'9" and I am 5'6". Everyone is always so surprised when they learn he is only 3 months old because he is so big! Our little man is growing up so fast!
