the most recent martha stewart craft i made for our humble abode is an old-fashioned letterbox. the template and instructions can be found here.
tyler and i use it for organizing receipts; every time we come home, the receipt goes into the box, and once a month we sort through and file them all. it's turned out to be quite convenient and practical.

That is pretty cool. You will have to help me make one this summer, I will need somewhere to put things, since I won't have a recipe drawer anymore.
Okay! It's super easy and pretty cheap, too, if you go the BYU bookstore for supplies. :)
