We bought a domain!

So last year we made our own website to do the RSVP for the reception (Oceanside) and open house (Bakersfield). Unfortunately, that site domain, tyleralie.info, is going to expire on the 25th of this month. Coincidentally, I wanted a better domain name to play with, and Alie wanted a domain since she is taking a web design class and needed to host it on a site before the end of the semester. So we decided to buy a new domain. 

Luckily, I ran into a site a while ago called bustaname. This website is awesome because you can type in all of the words you are thinking of, and it will find all of the combinations of those words and if they are available in .com, .net, or .org. You can also add i (iJones.com?), e, or my (myJones.com). Needless to say, we came up with a lot of possibilities that we liked:

Needless to say, we put a lot of thought into it! As a side note, if you use coupon code 299BUYCOM at checkout on godaddy.com, you can buy a new domain for $2.99 a year! We are now the proud owners of doublejones.com! It is hard to find domains with jones when there are like 250,000 people in the United States alone with that last name! We're just happy that we found a snazzy name. If you look at the picture, you can see some ridiculously awesome other names we came out with.

And by the way, if you go to doublejones.com right now and don't see anything, that is because we just bought it. Relax, we haven't blocked our stalkers, yet ;).
