Happy Four Weeks!

Babies are just the most precious thing.

I'm testing to see how well Jack will fall asleep on his own for naps. I put him down about twenty minutes ago and told myself to wait fifteen minutes to go pick him up. Little Jack was fussing a bit and had little yelps and cries, but this all soon escalated into a full-out blood curdling scream. After a few minutes I went in there to pick him up and the minute he got into my arms he immediately got very calm, snuggled himself up to my chest, and fell right asleep.

It's little moments like this that make up for the sleepless nights and frustrations of being a new parent. Somehow these little glimmers of happiness make it all worth it. :)
